What is a social media content-extraction MCP?

Learn how Mamitsu helps an AI client extract information from selected public social posts and return structured JSON.

Understand the post

Ask what a post shows, says, or demonstrates

A social media content-extraction MCP lets an AI client ask questions about a public social post and receive structured JSON. Mamitsu extracts information from the selected Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X post. It is for understanding post content, not publishing or account analytics.

A post can communicate through its video and images, audio, caption, and text. Ask about details such as a recipe’s ingredients, steps shown in a tutorial, or features described in a product launch.

The MCP setup guide shows how to connect a client.

See an example

A focused question turns post content into useful information

In Mamitsu’s published YouTube example, a prompt asks what a tutorial teaches and requests its steps and tools in order. The captured result contains the tutorial topic and five numbered steps, with the named tools grouped under each step.

Extraction differs from publishing and account analytics

Extraction is about what an individual post shows, says, or demonstrates. Publishing tools create or schedule posts. Account analytics tools report account or post performance, such as views or engagement.

Your application or AI client supplies each post to inspect. Mamitsu does not publish, schedule, or monitor accounts.

Connect your workflow

Use MCP with an AI client, or the REST API in an application

MCP lets an AI client ask questions about a post during a conversation or agent workflow. For direct application integration, Mamitsu also provides a REST API. See examples for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
